Janna Rodriguez is a passionate educator and advocate for equity and inclusion in early childhood education. With years of experience and a dedication to empowering children, families, and educators, Janna has become a trailblazer in creating accessible, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments.

At the Innovative Daycare Corp (IDC), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are core to our mission of creating learning environments where every child and educator feels valued, seen, and empowered. In a field largely led by women—and within home-based childcare particularly by women of color—we believe in fostering equitable opportunities for all while emphasizing the importance of diverse representation within our workforce.

We are proud to celebrate the pivotal role that male educators and interns play in the early childhood education sector. Representation matters, and having men in nurturing roles offers children a broader perspective and helps break down stereotypes about caregiving and teaching. Their presence contributes to a balanced environment where children can build healthy relationships with role models of all genders, supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive development.

At IDC, DEI isn’t just a philosophy—it’s a daily practice. We intentionally incorporate multicultural dolls, books, and materials into our classrooms to ensure every child sees themselves reflected and experiences the richness of diverse cultures and traditions. By celebrating different religions, languages, and ways of life, we prepare children to thrive in an interconnected, inclusive world.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is the first day care I ever placed my daughter in. I was terrified at first, as most parents would be, but once I stepped foot in there it’s such an amazing atmosphere. Janna and stuff are so loving with the children, my daughter loves it. The children all play so well together, it’s like their a big family. So clean, keeps the children on an amazing schedule, and makes their meals. She will treat your child as if they were her own.
